The inner lining of ton bags and bulk containers primarily serves the following functions: waterproofing, moisture protection, and leak prevention.
So, what materials is the endometrium made of?
PE (polyethylene) material film. PE films are moisture-resistant and have low moisture permeability. Depending on the manufacturing method and control techniques used, polyethylene films (PE) can be produced in various forms—such as low-density, medium-density, high-density polyethylene, as well as cross-linked polyethylene—each offering distinct performance characteristics.
The inner liner shown in the picture comes in both bottom-sealed and double-ended versions. The double-ended design makes it easy to load and unload materials through the discharge opening, and its dimensions can be customized to match those of ton bags or bulk bags.
2. The molded PE inner liner provides a better fit for ton bags, making filling much more convenient.
A film-blowing machine is a piece of mechanical equipment that heats and melts PE plastic pellets, then blows them into thin films. First, dry polyethylene pellets are fed into a hopper, where they fall by gravity into the screw mechanism. As the pellets come into contact with the angled threads of the screw, the rotating threads generate a thrust force perpendicular to their surface, pushing the plastic particles forward. During this process, friction between the plastic and the screw, as well as between the plastic and the barrel walls, combined with collisions among the particles themselves—and further aided by external heating of the barrel—gradually melts the material. The molten plastic is then filtered through a mesh screen at the die head to remove impurities, before exiting through the die opening. After being inflated and cooled by an air ring, the film passes through a herringbone plate for shaping, and finally, it’s wound into a cylindrical roll by traction rollers.
